I haven't had too much to talk about lately. Been keeping it bottled up, as any psychiatrist would speculate. There just seems to be too much on my mind to specify one thing to actually talk about. So, I'll aim for the funny things.

Talk about a dork:
New computer. Comes with a Mighty Mouse - which rocks, BTW. I thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be grand to have a new computer desk and chair, get a whole home office set up?" Good thinking! Shopping at Staples is always fun and rewarding for me. I'm an office supplies weirdo! Okay, back on track now...
I pick out this nice Sauder wood desk with a hutch, it looks sturdy, and I've worked for Sauder so I know the company stands behind their products. Took my husband shopping with me, and of course we can't agree on a desk. He thinks the faux pine finish is a bit too faux looking. So, we compromise and decide that a nice glass and black metal desk with built in bookshelf is really neato.. and buy it.
(Had to get an awesome chair, desk lamp, printer paper, brochure paper, organizational tools, file sorter, new file folders, and a dry erase board - while we're there, too, of course)...

So. Get home. Put together the desk, the chair and get everything looking all professional and spiffy. Turn on the Macintosh and go and try to use the mouse. Hmmmm.. that's weird. NOTHING.

I love my computer. I just put one of my new pretty file folders down on the glass and work from there.
Just keep it in mind when you're out shopping for new computer desks. It may not mesh well with your mouse.


Other funny things?
I was looking for some video montage music last night and came across a title for a song that said something to the effect of
"underwater talking" relaxation "puts you to sleep". Hmmm....... It was late and I was a bit slap happy, but I sat there and cracked myself up trying to do some bubble talking.

Well. I've officially ran out of time that I could put off showering and still be at the school on time today!
