I actually got my final project for basic design done yesterday!
I just need to write a "rationale" about it, submit that on Wednesday and be done with that!

I aced my Desktop Publishing final.
I finished the class missing only 3 points out of 200. That was from the first quiz where the instructor was a tad pickier about how we worded our answers. Not sure I'll ever use this knowledge, but hey, it didn't kill me to take it.

Today -- I've been packing and cleaning most of the morning. I still need to head to the school to work on my lab that's due tonight and to redo some of my TLE's for 099. Not too bad.
Husband has to work late, so I will be getting quite a few things done this evening.
I need to rework the entry forms and the rules sheet for the DMX since I need electronic files for downloading and I also need an original copy to print copies from. Not a problem though! Shouldn't take me that long to do. I wish I could find the originals that I had made already but I believe those have been demolished.

I'm feeling a bit better about finals.
Didn't get much money back for books, but that's frustrating to everyone anyways.
My desktop publishing teacher had us buy a 50.00 book that we didn't use, because it was for the wrong version of InDesign. My art teacher had us buy 2 books that we never even cracked. But we did get a few bucks back on those. Not nearly what we paid - of course - but I don't think they could even be considered "used".

Oh well. I seem to sit around and complain quite a bit in my blog.
There are actually good things that happen in my life, but they seem to be overshadowed most of the time by depressing things.
I'll get through this, or else go insane trying :oP
